Un anno passato tra Palermo, Roma e Ragusa, l’incontro con vecchi amici, il desiderio di ritrovarsi e al contempo mostrarsi “soli”. Tante canzoni e poco tempo. Tutto questo sfocia nella creazione di questo EP Things We Lost, che documenta un cambiamento nella scrittura, il ritorno alla forma solitaria.

Things We Lost nasce così: da un cammino personale ed interiore di Carlo Natoli; un percorso di abbandono e ricerca, di perdita e ritrovamento, di scelta espressiva.

4 i brani scelti per dar voce a questo percorso, i compagni di sempre (Sebastiano Cataudo alla batteria e Sergio Occhipinti al basso e chitarre) per arrangiarli e registrarli, e infine 3 amici che, con interventi fondamentali e sorprendenti, portano i brani alla loro forma finale.

Fabrizio Cammarata accompagna la voce di Carlo Natoli in For a Relief e suona la sua Weissenborn guitar in Pay my Dues.
Fabio Parrinello -Black Eyed Dog- si unisce a Carlo e Fabrizio nei versi di For a Relief e canta in Pay my Dues.
Luca Andriolo -Dead Cat In a Bag- è la voce e la chitarra che in Death Row Information interpretano le ultime parole di condannati a morte raccolte (e scelte a caso da Carlo Natoli) dal “Executed Offender’s Last Statement (1982/2014)” pubblicato dal Dipartimento di Giustizia del Texas.
